PROVIDENCE, RI - The Merrimack College baseball team is heading to the Ocean State for a single game match up against Brown this Wednesday afternoon at 3:30.
The Warriors are coming off a seven game home stretch where they defeated reigning conference champs Fairfield.
The Warriors are led by outfielder Joey Frammartino who is batting .366 on the season and has a 1.127 slugging. Frammartino has hit four home runs, and driven in 24 runs. He also leads the team in OBP with .542.
The team's home run leader (5) Greg Cristino is batting .309 and has the most RBIs at 28. Cristino also has ten doubles thus far.
Brooks Craigue is swinging a hot bat recently. He had a four hit game against Holy Cross last week, and drove in a total of five runs.
Freshman Garrett McGovern has 22 hits this season with a .338 batting average.
Jayden Hamilton has knocked in 18 runs on 32 hits. He leads the team in plate appearances with 112.
