JERSEY CITY, NJ - The Warriors of Merrimack College head to Jersey City this weekend for a three-game series against the Peacocks.
The Warriors are winners of four straight conference games, and have won six of their last seven in conference.
The MAAC's reigning Player of the Week Greg Cristino enters the weekend series with a .288 batting average, and team leading 11 home runs, 16 doubles, and .545% SLG.
The Warrior leader in batting average (.318) Joey Frammartino is up to a five game hitting streak. Frammartino has driven in at least two runs in all three of his last games.
Frammartino has also hit a home run in two straight games.
Matt DeShiro's put a ball over the fence in each of his last two games, and has pushed his hit streak out to 20 games, and on-base streak up to 36.
DeShiro carries a season high .314 batting average.
Garrett McGovern has a six game hitting streak, and recently moved his batting average up over .300.
Jayden Hamilton reached the half-century mark in the team's last game, and Brooks Craigue is up to 49 hits.
Both Hamilton and Craigue have driven in 28 runs this season.
The Warriors and Peacocks start their weekend Friday at 3 p.m.
