EMMITSBURG, MD—Merrimack Women's Track and Field team competed in day one of the MAAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Saturday, collecting four top five finishes.
Katie Sills set a personal best in the pole vault reaching a mark of 3.65 meters, good for fourth place.
Caitlin Garrahy finished fifth with a mark of 45.05 meters in the hammer throw.
Avaline Fihlman and
Maci Chapman finished fourth and fifth in the 10,000 meter final with times of 37:52.57 and 38:11.30.
Lily Thomas finished fifth in the 3000 meter steeplechase with a time of 11:00.49.
Isabella Tomic qualified for the 400 meter hurdle final with a time of 1:04.16.
Riley Paskow,
Piper Testa and Rebeeca Russalesi qualified for the 400 meter final tomorrow with times of 56.06, 56.62 and 58.01.
Paskow also qualified for the 200 meter final with a time of 24.80.
