NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. -- The Metro Conference on Wednesday announced its academic honor roll, and Merrimack College student-athletes represented the Warriors athletic department extremely well.
Merrimack had 328 student-athletes named to conference academic honor roll, which was the third-most of any school in the conference. Only Sacred Heart and Marist had more student-athletes named to the conference's list of student-athlete standouts. The Warriors had 314 student-athletes named to the conference's academic honor roll following the 2024-25 academic year.
To be eligible for the academic honor roll, a student-athlete must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
"I'm really proud of the work out student-athletes are doing, representing all of us in such an incredible way," Merrimack athletic director Joe Foley said when recently speaking at the Merrimack Roadshow. "The way they represent Merrimack, it's a terrific thing."
Merrimack student-athletes averaged a 3.506 GPA during the spring semester with 426 student-athletes surpassing a 3.5 GPA during that span.
The Metro Conference academic honor roll does not include student-athletes who represent Merrimack's football team, field hockey team, men's volleyball team or the men's or women's hockey teams.
