BURLINGTON, VT -- The Merrimack College women's soccer team twice overcome a one-goal deficit and ultimately earned a 2-2 draw against the University of Vermont on Thursday night.
Lilly Cook tapped in the equalizer in the 65th minute following a cross from
Hannah Carr with
Liv Campbell earning an assist on the tally, as well. It marked the second time that Merrimack netted a leveling goal as
Bella Keogh did so in the 36th minute.
Emily McCabe caused a turnover in the attacking third and threaded it to Keogh, who did the rest.
Vermont took a 2-1 lead into the intermission with goals in the 14th minute and 42nd minute.
The Warriors host the Northeastern Huskies in their home opener at Martone-Mejail Field on Sunday at 1 p.m.
