Sophia Keogh netted a perfectly-placed direct kick in the 83rd minute to lift the Merrimack women's soccer team to a 2-1 victory over Bryant at Martone-Mejail Field on Sunday. It not only granted the Warriors a second consecutive win, but also marked
Gabe Mejail's 500th victory as the Merrimack women's soccer coach.
Less than one minute after Bryant took a 1-0 lead on a penalty kick, the Warriors leveled the score 1-1 in the 53rd minute.
Kylie Fuller netted a deflection on an assist from
Emily McCabe.
Mejail is 500-268-68 during his 42 seasons with the Warriors.
The Warriors have scored two goals in their last three contests and in four of their five games this season.
Merrimack will host the University of New Hampshire on Wednesday night.
