NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – It's almost showtime for the new-look Merrimack Warriors women's basketball program.
The women's basketball team on Thursday announced its 2026-27 schedule, which coincided with the release of season tickets. First-year head coach Missy Traversi and company will play 13 regular-season contests at Lawler Arena.
The Warriors open their season with a trip to Tallahassee, where they will face the Florida State Seminoles in a non-conference matchup. Merrimack will then take part in the America East-Metro Conference Challenge as it faces New Jersey Institute of Technology (Nov. 5) before the Warriors host the Maine Black Bears (Nov. 8). Merrimack hosted NJIT in the Women's National Invitational Tournament (WNIT) to cap its 2025-26 campaign.

Merrimack's non-league slate then includes a trip to Villanova for a battle against the Wildcats (Nov. 12), followed by a trip to Chestnut Hill where the Warriors will face the Boston College Eagles (Nov. 17).
Traversi and company travel to Brown (Nov. 19) before hosting UMass Lowell (Nov. 22) at Lawler Arena. The Warriors will then be on the road for two non-conference matchups against Northeastern (Nov. 28) and Bryant (Dec. 8) before they close non-conference play against Dartmouth (Dec. 12).
Merrimack begins conference play with a matchup against Sienna (Dec. 19). The Warriors will host Manhattan on New Year's Day before they return to Lawler the following weekend and host the reigning Metro Conference champions, the Fairfield Stangs (Jan. 9). The team's final home game of the year will be against Quinnipiac (Feb. 27).
The Conference Championship will take place at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, N.J., on March 4.
