Brittany Morrison

Following a one-year stint as an assistant coach with Kelly Morrone at John Carroll University in 2019-20, Brittany Morrison begins her first year as an Assistant Women's Basketball Coach at Merrimack College in 2020-21.

Her first year on the JCU coaching staff followed a four-year career as a student-athlete at the University at Buffalo. Morrison's tutelage made an immediate impact at John Carroll as the Blue Streaks posted a 23-win season one year ago, and finished as the runner-up in the Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Tournament. While at John Carroll, Morrison coached JCU’s own 2020 OAC Player and Defensive Player of the Year.

In four seasons at UB, Morrison helped lead the Bulls to their first MAC Championship in program history as well as their first NCAA Tournament appearance. (2015-16) Morrison was a member of the Bulls' 2018 squad that made their first NCAA Sweet 16 Appearance in school history following victories over South Florida and Florida State (2017-18). This team was the first MAC team to win back-to-back NCAA Tournament games since 1991-92; this also being the first back-to-back NCAA tournament wins in UB program history. During her senior campaign, Morrison helped her team win 2019-20 MAC Championship; their second in school history. This lead to their third NCAA Tournament appearance in four years. (2016, 2018, 2019). As a senior, she ranked first on the team with 87 offensive rebounds and second in total boards with 194.

Morrison made the Mid-American Conference All-Academic Team during her senior year and graduated Cum Laude in May of 2019 with a BA in Health and Human Services.
