Junior Krystal Knight (Groveland, Mass.) of the Merrimack College women's golf team has been named this week's Fuddruckers Female Athlete of the Week.

Knight won the individual title for the tournament she was competing in for the second week in a row, claiming medalist honors to continue her torrid start to her junior season. Knight tied her single-round career low – that she set in the second round of last weekend's tournament – after she fired a 71 on Monday, trimming six strokes off her Sunday score of 77. Altogether, Knight finished with a four-over-par 148 score for the tournament, while the team posted a highly respectable fifth-place finish.

Knight and the rest of her team will play one final tune-up before hosting the conference championship tournament when they visit fellow Northeast-10 Conference constituent Le Moyne for the Le Moyne Fall Invitational next Sunday and Monday (Sept. 17-18).
