BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Merrimack College men's track & field competed at the Bowdoin Invitational on Saturday afternoon. School and personal records were broken throughout the day.

Race Highlights:
- Freshman Travis Hunt continued his impressive rookie campaign, placing fourth in the shot put and breaking a school record with a 14.05-meter distance. Sophomore Jake Fogarty set a personal record in the shot put with an 11.05-meter throw.
- Sophomore Ryan Nesta finished fourth in the 60-meter hurdles, finishing with a time of 8.73 seconds.
- Senior Keith Steinbrecher finished the mile run with a time of 4:17. Classmate Connor Murphy finished second in the 800-meter distance, with a time of 1:56.27, less than two seconds off the leader from Tufts University.
- Christian Gentile had a third place finish in the 3000-meter run with a time of 8:50.18.
- Senior Niall Coughlin won the 1000-meter run with a time of 2:32. 69. Junior Jacob Robinson had a second place finish in the 200-meter dash.
- The 4x800-meter relay team of Connor Murphy, sophomore Noah Davis, Coughlin, and Steinbrecher finished in second place with a school record.
- The 4x400-meter relay team of Patrick Forrest, Tyler Lebel, Eric Rosario, and Jacob Robinson finished in second place.
- Junior Michael Cuesta finished fourth in the triple jump, with a jump of 14.06-meters. Classmate Trevor Ciempa had a fourth place finish in the high jump, while sophomore Patrick Whyte finished in fifth.

The Warriors will compete at the John Thomas Terrier Classic in Boston, Massachusetts on Friday and Saturday at Boston University. The Navy and Gold will also compete at the Southern Maine Invitational on Saturday in Portland, Maine.
