Mana Seifaei, the Merrimack College women's tennis program knocked off NCAA Division I Holy Cross, 5-4, on Monday afternoon at the Northeast Tennis Center in Middleton, Mass.

- Merrimack took a 2-1 lead into the singles portion of the match. For the second time this spring, Seifaei paired with senior Danielle Dunn at top-flight doubles and the duo secured an 8-1 win to open the match. Sophomore Mia Briggs and freshman Cassie Restrepo posted an 8-4 triumph at No. 2 to give the Warriors the advantage
- All six singles matches were played as pro sets. Seifaei defeated the Crusaders' top option, 8-3, at No. 1
- After winning as a pair in doubles, Restrepo and Briggs each notched singles win. The former won in 8-3 fashion at No. 3 while the latter won a closely contested 8-6 tilt at No. 4
- Sophomore Roberta Marcos made her spring debut at third doubles, while freshman Abbie Sartori did the same at sixth singles
