Rapid Recap
  • Victories at third doubles and first doubles gave Merrimack the doubles point. The third-flight pairing of freshman Rosemary Campanella and junior Roberta Marcos collected a 6-1 victory at No. 3. For Marcos, it marked her first NE10 doubles win of the season and third overall in her career
  • First doubles finished shortly thereafter, with sophomore Cassie Restrepo and freshman Kristina Calistro uniting for another 6-1 triumph. Senior Lauren Persson and junior Mia Briggs also prevailed at the second flight, 6-3
  • The Warriors claimed flights No. 2-6 to dominate singles action. All five victories came in straight sets. Second singles proved to be the match-clincher, where Restrepo survived a first-set tiebreak (7-5), before winning the second set in just seven games (6-1)
  • The freshmen trio of Calistro, Campanella and Hope Salts kept their perfect league singles records alive with three straight-sets wins. Salts entered the lineup at No. 6 after not playing in doubles
