Men’s Cross Country Earns Personal Bests at New England Champs

BOSTON – The Merrimack College men's cross country program raced with strong personal performances at the New England Championships at Franklin Park on Saturday.

The Basics
Results: 13
Top Finisher: TJ Corliss (23rd – 25:40)
Location: Boston, Mass. | Franklin Park

What They Said:
Head coach Chris Cameron: "The men ran much, much better than they did at Codfish. They were overall 13th in the race, and they also beat four Division I teams. Many PRs on the men's side, which is a great thing to see."

How It Happened:
  • Corliss finished in 23rd overall with a time of 25:40, and was Merrimack's top runner of the day.
  • Noah Davis earned the team's second best finish in the race, taking a 25:48 time for 34th overall time.
  • Junior Gunnar Hasselquist ranked 55th overall, with a time of 26:06.

Merrimack will head to New Britain, Conn. for a tune-up at the Central Connecticut State Mini Meet on Oct. 25.
