NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – After a four game non-divisional slate over the weekend, the Merrimack College softball program will hit the road to take on Bentley Tuesday night, setting the stage for a critical game three against a northeast division opponent. The teams split the first two games on April 3, and the Warriors currently hold a two-game lead over Bentley going into the rubber match.

The contest will now be played at Martone-Mejail due to Bentley's on-campus field being unplayable, with the start time remaining at 3 p.m. The Falcons will still remain the "home" team and bat second in today's game. (Updated 4/9)

Five Things to Know:
  • Senior Hannah Johnson led Merrimack's offense over the weekend, batting .438 with five RBI and three scored runs.
  • The Warriors scored 15 runs in Sunday's split doubleheader with Le Moyne, the most in any doubleheader this season.
  • In its last four games, Merrimack stole ten bases; its 69 total swipes are good for first in the conference, with three players in the top five among Northeast 10 Conference competitors.
  • Bentley split its last doubleheader with American International on Saturday, winning game one before falling in game two.
