PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The Merrimack College men's tennis team won its third straight match on Sunday, capping off the action-packed weekend with a 5-2 victory over La Salle. The squad finished up their weekend road trip in Philadelphia and won comfortably over the Explorers. The Warriors come home with three more Division I wins than they had when they left, and look to build on that momentum gained over the weekend.

- Merrimack began Sunday by taking the first two doubles flights, earning themselves the doubles point. Senior Denis Davydov and classmate Alex Fedorov claimed the top flight, 6-3, while sophomores Jonathan Garcia and Alec Mackay Rodriguez won at No. 2, 6-3 as well.
- Following the doubles, the Warriors took four out of six potential flights in singles, earning themselves a 5-2 victory.
- Davydov continued his dominant weekend and took home a (6-2, 7-5) win at No. 1 singles. Garcia and sophomore Conrad Koch gave the Warriors wins at the next two flights at No.2 and No. 3 singles. Garcia won comfortably (6-4, 6-2) and Koch was able to win a close second set giving the Warriors the first three flights.
- Freshman Pedro De Godoy Mancini gave the Warriors their final win of match, earning a victory at No. 5 singles (6-4, 6-4)
