NASHUA, N.H. –
Jordan Laplume shot a one-under-par round of 71 Sunday afternoon at Nashua Country Club to lead the Merrimack College women's golf team past Franklin Pierce by a final stroke count of 304-306.
The senior carded a quartet of birdies and played under par for the final 16 holes of the round to finish as the lone player under par on the day. Laplume kept momentum going after she shot a 72 in the final round of the 2021 NEC Championship back in the spring to claim all-tournament team honors.
Three other Warriors broke 80 on the round, led by
Jacquelyn Stiles, who finished with a 77.
Alexandra Tomasso and
Prakruthi Sastry also ended their days in the 70s.

How It Happened
- Stiles played to +2 in her opening four holes, then had fireworks on the par-5 fifth hole. She carded a three after she stuck her second shot to three feet for the lone eagle between both teams on the day. Her round also included a pair of birdies on the par-3 eighth hole and par-4 10th.
- In her first collegiate appearance, Sastry had a trio of birdies in the first eight holes, then had five straight pars on the back side to finish with a 78.
- Tomasso had a steady round with a birdie on the front nine and put together 11 pars, including five in a row from the 11th to 15th holes to card a 78 as well.
- Also in her Warrior debut, Ava Minisolo shook off a tough front nine to shoot a +3 38 on the back side that was sparked by seven straight pars. Her card ended with an 81.
