KINGSTON, N.Y. --
June Doerr recorded a hole-in-one on the par-3 8th hole at Wiltwyck Golf Club on Tuesday, and it proved to be a sign of things to come for the Merrimack College women's golf team as the Warriors took first in the 2026 Hill YEAH! Invitational hosted by Stonehill College.
The Warriors finished the tournament 14-over par, winning the event with an eight-stroke advantage over runner-up FDU. Merrimack, which held the lead going into the second day, combine to shoot a 1-over 289 during the final round.

Doerr recorded the best finish for the Warriors as she took third overall and concluded the invitational a mere 1-over par. The Merrimack sophomore jumped five spots on the individual leaderboard after she carded a 2-under par 70 on Tuesday.
Merrimack freshman
Erika Redmond took sixth overall. Redmond carded a 4-under par 68 on the final round, which helped her jump 10 spots from Day 1 to Day 2.
Fellow freshman
Olivia Williams also recorded a top-10 finish as she concluded the event 4-over par.
Warrior sophomore
Mya Murphy earned a top-15 finish after she concluded 8-over par.
