RESULTS
BLOOMFIELD, Conn. – Yiting Pan paced the Merrimack College women's golf team with a cumulative score of +5 in a sensational effort at the Hartford Hawks Invitational, as the Warriors finished second overall in team scoring among a group of northeast region powers.
Pan put herself near the top of the individual leaderboard Saturday after she had three birdies on the way to an even par round of 72, which marked the best 18 holes of her young Merrimack career. She finished second overall on the weekend after she carded a 77 Sunday, which included 13 pars.
With difficult scoring conditions during the final day, Alexandra Tomasso also played her way into a top-10 individual finish. She posted rounds of 75 and 81 to claim a tie for 10th overall and was able to post six birdies throughout the weekend.
In just her third collegiate tournament, Prakruthi Sastry had her best day as a Warrior with her opening total of 76, then followed it up with an 81 Sunday to finish in a tie for 12th overall.

How It Happened
- Jacquelyn Stiles was a major piece in Merrimack's high finish, as she was consistent both days with rounds of 78 and 82 to end her tournament in a tie for 17th.
- Jordan Laplume helped the Warriors along when she had cards of 80 and 89 to finish in a tie for 32nd.
- While her score did not contribute to Merrimack's total, Ava Minisolo had a couple days to remember. She had her best collegiate round Saturday with a total of 80, then followed that up with an 86 Sunday to end up 27th overall.
- Elsewhere for Merrimack, Caitlin White had rounds of 93 and 85 to tie for 43rd and Charlotte Cute tied her overall total after cards of 86 and 92.
