SOMERSET, N.J. –
Albert Ferreras on the Merrimack College men's cross country team was named Northeast Conference (NEC) Rookie of the Week after his performance this week at the New England Championships.
Ferreras finished the course in a time of 26:04 which was good enough for 47
th place overall and sixth among rookie runners. He was also the second Merrimack runner to finish in the race. Being the second Warrior to cross the finish line was his best finish so far this season.
The Warriors get back to action in two weeks when they head to Connecticut for the Central Connecticut State Mini Meet.
