LOWELL, M.A. – The women's lacrosse team faced off against Merrimack's rival UMass Lowell, under the lights at Cushing Field. The River hawks came away with the win, despite an impressive offensive performance by
Meghan Dzialo.

Records: Merrimack 3-9, 3-1, UML 4-10, 1-3 AE
How it happened:

st quarter:
- The home team got on the board first, but Meghan Dzialo's 30th goal of the season quickly equalized the score.
- The River hawks would tally two more after Dzialo's initial goal, but she would again find the back of the net within the first eight minutes of play.
- Before the end of the quarter, UML would add one more on a free position opportunity.
- Score at end of 1st: 4-2 UML

nd quarter:
- The home team's offense would explode in the second quarter, with seven goals from six different shooters.
- Dzialo would earn a hat trick early in the quarter.
- Score at end of 2nd: 11-3 UML

rd quarter:
- UML's two top scorers on the day tallied three for their team in the quarter, but their offensive presence was interrupted by Taylor Darrell.
- Score at end of 3rd: 14-4 UML
4
th quarter:
- The final 15 minutes of play were fairly quiet for both teams, but the Warriors won the quarter with the help of Darrell and Dzialo.
- The Warriors only allowed one goal from the River hawks
Final Score: 15-6 UML
Up Next:
The Warriors will host Wagner on Saturday afternoon, as a part of a double header at Duane Stadium with Men's Lacrosse. The program will also celebrate its graduating Seniors with a pre-game ceremony. Game time is set for 12:00 pm on April 16.
