Early Goal Gives Women's Soccer Win Over Howard

WASHINGTON, D.C.- The Merrimack College women's soccer team came away winners this afternoon in the tough 1-0 victory over the Howard University in Washington.

• The Warriors just under seven minutes in the game scored a goal from Ella Cormier, which was unassisted. Cormier found herself alone past the defense and rounded the challenging goalkeeper to score.

• Goalkeeper Lily Morgan captured her second shutout of her collegiate career, stopping seven shots on goal.
