Bomba Wins NEC Co-Female Field Athlete of the Week For Second Time This Year

NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – After a remarkable performance at the URI Indoor Invitational on Saturday afternoon in Kingston, Rhode Island, senior Skyler Bomba of the Merrimack College women' s track and field program earned NEC Co-Female Field Athlete of the Week honors, as announced by the league Tuesday.

In last week's event, the Hudson, N.H. native highlighted the event by placing first in the Pole Vault with a mark of 3.80m (12' 5.5") which was one centimeter off equaling her school record of 3.81m (12'6"). This is her second time winning Co-Female Field Athlete of the Week this season.

The Warriors next meet takes place next Friday in a meet hosted by UMass Lowell at the TRACK at New Balance in Brighton Mass.
