NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. — Merrimack College men's basketball Senior forward
Jordan Minor was named the Northeast Conference (NEC) Player of the week, as announced Monday after he continued his excellent play in the Warriors 76-59 victory over Long Island University on Thursday night where he had a team-high 25 points and his play in the win against against Saint Francis University on Saturday afternoon.
The Kingston, Mass native scored 25 points in the Merrimack win on Thursday. The senior forward also had a team leading 13 rebounds and a team high seven assists to go along with four blocks and two steals in the victory. In the win on Saturday afternoon Minor had 18 points, a team leading eight rebounds, team leading three blocks, and two steals.
Minor currently ranks first on the team in scoring, averaging 17.1 points per game. The senior also has a team high 2.6 blocks per game. Minor has 50 total rejections so far on the season.
The Warriors get back to action on Thursday night against Stonehill College. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
