Leibold Signs Professional Contract with South Carolina Stingrays

North Charleston SC: --Merrimack Forward Ryan Leibold has been signed to his first professional hockey contract as he joins the South Carolina Stingrays of the ECHL as announced by the club on Wednesday.
 
Leibold, a graduate student from Ashburn Virginia, recently completed his only season for the Warriors, scoring 12 points (five goals, seven assists) in 38 games for the Warriors. Prior to joining Merrimack he played at the College of the Holy Cross where he notched 58 points in 119 games.
Leibold looks to make his debut tomorrow on March 31st as the Stingrays, the ECHL affiliate of the Washington Capitals head on the on the road to face the Cincinnati Cyclones in their first of a three game in three-day road trip.
