Lowell, MA— The Merrimack Rowing Team had a very successful day as they took part in the Riverhawk Challenge this past weekend.
In the Women's Varsity 8+ event, the team of Coxswain Hannah Dekarski,
Emily Riggs,
Laney Tillman, Rebecca Rau,
Dempsey Lajoie,
Skye Tucker,
Kaari Dexter, Meghan Jeroszco,
Meghan Knowles, finished first with a time of 8:33.
The Novice 4+ team of Coxswain Lexi Lescovitz, Gianna DaSilva,
Lucy McAllister,
Emily Riggs, Rebecca Rau also won their 4+ Novice event with a time of 9:54.
The team of coxswain: Katey Bank,
Skye Tucker,
Kaari Dexter,
Meghan Knowles, Meghan Jeroszco placed second in the 1V4+ event with a time of 8:32.
