VA-- The Merrimack College Warriors Baseball team completed their sweep over the Stonehill Seahawks with wins of 8-3 and 7-3 to extend their winning streak to five on Friday and Saturday afternoon.

GAME 1: The Seahawks took the early lead with a two run second inning before
Ben Nelson knocked in Frankie
Ferrentino with an RBI single. Stonehill scored another run in the fourth inning but the Warriors took control in the fifth as
Alex Haba scored an RBI on a fielders choice, before
Frankie Ferrentino hit a single knocking in
George Athanasiadis tying the score before
Ben Nelson came up big again with a two RBI double for the Warriors fourth run of the inning. In the sixth inning the Warriors were able to get two more runs, putting the Warriors up four.
Braydon Dolbashian put the exclamation point on this one with a home run in the ninth.

GAME 2: The Warriors picked up right where they left off in the middle game of the series as
Scott Elliott hit a two RBI double in the second inning before
Matthew Chatelle scored a run on groundout before a
Chris Goode RBI double and
Stephen Santarpia single made the lead five. Stonehill got a run back in the sixth inning, but the Warriors put the lead back at six after a bunt single from
Scott Elliott and a
Frankie Ferrentino fielders choice scored two more. The Warriors would close out the sweep from there despite allowing two runs in the ninth.
