Courtney Lanpher was announced as a member of the NEC Softball All-Conference Second Team by the league office on Wednesday afternoon.
Lanpher, a senior utility player from Princeton, Massachusetts finished sixth in conference batting average, hitting .353 in conference play and had a 1.061 on base + slugging percentage as she had 24 hits, 11 for extra bases, three home runs and scoring 11 RBI. She also had a great year in the field recording 45 putouts, 46 assists and a .958 fielding percentage. This is Courtney's first appearance on an NEC all-conference team and the Warriors first on the second team in their history.
The Warriors will begin their NEC Tournament playoff bid against St.Francis PA on Thursday.
