NORTH ANDOVER, MASS – Merrimack College has earned its first-ever Northeast Conference men's Commissioner's Cup as announced by the conference on Friday afternoon. The Warriors earned close to five points more than the second-place team in the men's standings. Merrimack finished fourth in the overall school standings with a total of 201.37 points.
Finishing first on the men's side in the Commissioner's Cup is an outstanding accomplishment and an achievement that all student athletes, coaches, and staff should be proud of," said Director of Athletics Jeremy Gibson.
Merrimack won its first-ever NEC Tournament championship in the winter with men's basketball. The Warriors also won the regular season title in basketball and placed second in football and men's soccer.
