Field Hockey Reveals 2023 Schedule

NORTH ANDOVER, MASS - The Merrimack College Field Hockey team, announced their 2023 schedule on Friday afternoon. Home games will be played at Duane Stadium with the schedule featuring seven Northeast Conference games. There will be 10 non-conference games played throughout the season.
 
The Warriors open their 2023 season with nine straight non-conference road games. On August 26, Merrimack will head to New York to take on Hofstra University. The following week, the squad will come back to Massachusetts to take on UMass Lowell on September 1 and then Northeastern University on September 3. On September 8 the Warriors head to Bryant University to square off against a former Northeast Conference foe. The squad then heads up north to Dartmouth College to take on the Big Green on September 10. The Warriors head to Iowa City on September 16 to take on the University of Vermont in a natural cite battle. The Catamounts are coming off a 13-win season. The following day, Merrimack will take on the University of Iowa for the first time in program history. The Hawkeyes finished last season as the number 11 team in the country. The Warriors will come back home to take on the College of Holy Cross on September 19 and Providence College on September 24.
 
Merrimack finally comes home for the start of conference play on September 29 to take on defending Northeast Conference champions Rider University. The squad then jumps back on the road for two games down in New York. On October 6 the Warriors will take on Wagner College, followed by Long Island University two days later. Stonehill College visits North Andover on October 13. Merrimack will take on the University of New Hampshire on October 15 for its final non-conference game of the season up in Durham. The following week, the Warriors play host to Saint Francis University on October 20. The squad then heads to Sacred Heart two days later to take on the Pioneers. The regular season concludes at home against Fairfield University on October 27.
