Women's Bowling Successful Season Comes to a End

ROCHESTER, N.Y. - The Merrimack Women's Bowling team's season has come to an end at the 2024 NCAA National Collegiate Women's Bowling Championship.

The Warriors continued their underdog story on the national stage after winning outright to secure the program's first NEC Bowling Championship. JaZelle Lampkin won NEC Tournament MVP and was accompanied by her sister Olivia Lampkin on the NEC All-Tournament team.

At the Regional round of the national tournament, Merrimack first faced off on Friday against defending champion Vanderbilt University. The Warriors defeated the Commodores 2-1 and were set to face off against #2 Arkansas State University later that day. Merrimack would end up losing this match 2-1, sending them to the loser's bracket for a rematch against Vanderbilt on Saturday. The Warriors got the best of them the first time, but Vanderbilt's experience would prove to be too much as they defeated Merrimack 2-0.
