Men's Soccer Drops Match to Dartmouth

North Andover, M.A.-   The Merrimack College Warriors Men's soccer team dropped their matchup with the Dartmouth Big Green by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday night.

Merrimack (1-6-0), Dartmouth (3-3-1)
 

• Dartmouth took the early lead just before the ten minute mark and would double their advantage later in the half after winning and converting a penalty kick to go up two goals into the half time break.

• In the second half, Merrimack would find a lifeline with Liam Ziegler find the net with a header on a corner kick, and Nelton Semedo would make a fantastic one on one save to keep the deficit at one, but the Warriors best chance from Gabrielle Bosio would go narrowly wide as the Warriors were defeated.

 

Notes and Numbers:

• Liam Ziegler scored his second goal of the season.
• Nelton Semedo made five saves.

UP NEXT: The Warriors kick off MAAC Conference play on Saturday when they travel to Maryland to face the Mount St. Mary's Mountaineers.
