North Andover, Ma. The Merrimack College women's soccer team fell in a 3-2 thriller to the Marist Red Foxes on Saturday morning at Martone-Mejail Field.

Merrimack took advantage of a free kick in a good area, as the ball careened into the net through a sea of bodies to open the scoring. Marist would however, score in the final minute to send the game tied into halftime.
Marist would strike for two in the first ten minutes of the second half, but the Warriors didn't quit as
Lilly Cook scored to cut the lead to one with ten minutes to play. In a frantic finish, Merrimack had a penalty claim waved away in the final two minutes and a late free kick from just outside the penalty area whiz just over the bar in the final seconds.
