Game Recap: Men's Ice Hockey |

Men’s Hockey Muzzles the Bulldogs

North Andover, MA — The Merrimack Men's Hockey team continued their non-conference slate of games with a well-played 60 minute effort and 4-1 victory over the Yale University Bulldogs on Friday night at Lawler Arena.

After being awarded a late powerplay Nolan Flamand opened the scoring, as he tipped in the point shot from Filip Nordberg to put the Warriors ahead 1-0 in the first period.

Merrimack would strike again late in the second as Nick Pierre scored his team leading eighth goal of the season with Parker Lalonde adding his second assist of the night to put the Warriors up 2-0 heading into the final period.

After having a goal ruled out earlier in the game, Yale got on the board midway through the third period following a review, but the Warriors clamped down from there after several shots sailed wide. Joey Henneberry put the puck on the tape of Flamand who hit the target for his second goal of the game and Warrior's fourth.

In net for the Warriors, Max Lundgren once again impressed, making an even 30 saves, and picking up his sixth win of the season.

The Warriors close their home slate in 2025 Saturday against the LIU Sharks at Lawler Arena at 6 PM.
