North Andover, MA-- Merrimack renters Hockey East league play this weekend against #14/15 Connecticut which will be two of the three Hockey East contests the Warriors will play in the month of December.
Nick Pierre ended the month of November holding the team lead in goals with seven including four in the previous month, he also holds the team lead in shots with 44 so far.
Trevor Hoskin ended the month as the only Warrior at more than a point a game pace in the eight-game stretch (nine points in seven GP) with three multi-point games in that time. Hoskin is the team leader in points with 14 and that's the eighth most in the conference.
Justin Gill also posted a point a game pace in November with four goals and four assists for eight points. Gill also had a six-game point streak with two of those games being multi-point efforts. Gill sits second in team points with 12. (five goals, seven assists)
Merrimack powerplay has been on fire in the last six games, as they've struck on the man advantage nine times in that span including four straight games of scoring twice in powerplay situations. The Warriors currently sit in 3rd place in Hockey East with a powerplay percentage of 23.2 and
Justin Gill and
Nick Pierre are tied for the most goals with three.
Max Lundgren has started every game this season for the Warriors, and has played the fourth most minutes played in the conference with 770:43 with the seventh best GAA with a 2.57 and the fifth best save percentage with a .916.
