NORTH ANDOVER, MA - For second time in the 2025-26 season freshman Kevair Kennedy was selected as the MAAC Rookie of the Week after leading the Warriors to a 2-0 start in MAAC play.
In the Warriors first MAAC competition of the season Kennedy scored 19 pts, making six shots from the field. He had three rebounds, assists, and steals apieace in the full 40 minutes he logged. In their Sunday matchup against Fairfield, Kennedy led the way with 20 pts, shooting 60% from the field. He sank eight shots from the free throw line. He tallied four assists and four rebounds to go with his team leading 20 points.
After the Sunday win, Kennedy has now lengthened his double digit scoring streak to nine games. On top of that, he has scored 15 points in three straight games and in four of his last five.
The Philly native ended his week with 19.5 ppg shooting 12-25 (48%) from the field.
