Softball Loses Rematch with UNCG

GREENSBORO, NC- The Merrimack College softball team lost their rematch with UNCG in the Spiro Tournament on the evening of February 14th.

How it Happened

The Warriors would see an early spark from Gabby Kaduson in the top of the 1st as she ripped a single through the right side. She would poke another single up the middle in the top of the 4th to get the ball rolling for the blue and gold. Merrimack would get their first run of the game with an RBI single from McKayla Kortes in the top of the 6th. They would try to keep their momentum going in the top of the 7th as Kiele Coleman ripped a single up the middle to get the inning started. Although the bats came alive at the end, the Warriors fell short in the contest.

• McKayla Kortes recorded an RBI single.

• Gabby Kaduson was 2 for 2 with a pair of singles.

• Anna Gedacht went four innings in the circle and struck out 2 UNCG batters.

• Kiele Coleman was 1 for 2.
