Records: Merrimack (1-5-1) | Bryant (2-3-1)

How it Happened
The Warriors and Bulldogs squared off as midweek rivals for the first of what will be three matchups this year. The scoring started early with Brooks Craigue smacking a solo homer to get it going. Bryant quickly answered with two runs in their half of the first inning and one more in the second. In the third and fourth innings it was all Merrimack. The visiting Warriors tacked on five runs before Bryant was able to respond with two runs of their own in fifth. It was a 7-6 lead in favor of the Warriors going into the ninth and Merrimack was looking to add some runs for insurance. An error would score Cavan Brady and Logan Castellano, giving Merrimack the 9-6 lead going into the bottom half of the ninth. Cole Yennaco came into the game to finish it but gave up three runs before being able to strike out the final batter to end the game in a 9-9 tie.
