Szott Named As Recipient of Hockey East Sportsmanship Award

AMESBURY, Mass. – Merrimack College women's hockey graduate student defense Raice Szott was named as the Hockey East Sportsmanship award as announced by the league office on Wednesday morning, 

Raice has been a constant on the Warriors blue line with 34 games played this season, notching seven points (one goal, six assists). She recently surpassed 150 career games played for Merrimack collecting 27 points (3 goals and 24 assists). She's also a three-time nominee for the Hockey Humanitarian award, and a two time finalist as well, The 2025 recipient will be announced on Friday, April 11th during the NCAA Men's Frozen Four weekend in St. Louis, Missouri.
 

The Warriors head to the Hockey East Tournament Opening Round tonight, as they visit the Whittemore Center, to play the #7 seeded New Hampshire Wildcats at 7 PM. This game can be seen on ESPN+ and NESN.
