North Andover, Mass.—The Merrimack Men's Hockey Team enters the 2025 Hockey East Postseason Tournament, as the 8th seed as they get set to host against the #9 seeded Northeastern Huskies on Wednesday night in the opening round.
The Warriors won two of the three matchups in the regular season, with the Warriors capturing a 4-1 win on December 14th at Lawler Arena and a 4-3 win on January 25th at Matthews Arena. These two teams faced off in the opening round of the Hockey East Tournament last season, a 4-0 Huskies win. This will be Merrimack's first home playoff game since a double overtime 1-0 victory over Boston College in the Hockey East Quarterfinals.
