Kruger and Savino we're huge parts of what was a blowout 19-6 victory over Iona on Saturday. The win marked the team's first victory in conference play as a member of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. Kruger, a sophomore from Tampa, Florida, paced the team in points as he totaled seven with a trio of goals, adding four assists to his stellar day. Savino chipped in five points of his own, as he continued to build upon his fantastic freshman season in North Andover. He was able to score two goals while dishing out three assists.
Merrimack will look to add on to their win total and carry momentum into a home conference matchup with Mount St. Mary's on April 12
