Boston, MA-- Merrimack Women's Track and Field continued their season with their first meet in the new year this afternoon as they participated in the Suffolk Ice Breaker at the TRACK at New Balance.

Marianna Collins took third place in the mile run with a time of 5:03.97, the second fastest time in Merrimack history and the third fastest time in the Conference for the season.
Lily Thomas took home a top 10 in the same event with a mark of 5:20.52. The Warriors finished in the top 8 in 400 meter, as
Riley Paskow and
Rebecca Russalesi took third and fourth with times of 1:00.02 and 1:00.20,
Isabella Tomic placed in sixth with a time of 1:00.84.

Katie Sills was one of three athletes to tie for fourth in the Pole Vault with a height of 3.40 meters (11' 1¾")

Elizabeth Murphy placed in sixth in the High Jump with a mark of 1.55 meters (5' 1")
