Kennedy Selected Rookie Of The Week For The Third Time

NORTH ANDOVER, MA - Men's Basketball's star Kevair Kennedy took home his third MAAC Rookie of the Week award after leading the team to three victories. Kennedy averaged 20.7 ppg, 4.7 rpg, and 5.3 assists per game in the undefeated week.

Kennedy started his week with an 18 point performance against Sacred Heart on the road. He shot 60% from the field and led the team in assists with seven. He notched three steals on the day.

The guard scored a career-high 24 against Mount St. Mary's and shot 50% from the field. Kennedy made 11 free throws in the win.

In the victory over the Manhattan Jaspers on Sunday, Kennedy played the full 40 minutes scoring 20 points and shooting 62% from the field. He came down with eight rebounds and tallied seven assists making him the closest he's ever come to a triple double. 


Kennedy and the first-place Warriors, who are 5-0 in the MAAC, head to Albany on Friday to take on Siena. Tip off from MVP Arena is set for 7 P.M.
