CAMBRIDGE, MA-- Merrimack Women's Track and Field headed back to the Gordon Indoor Track on Friday to compete in the Harvard Crimson Open on Friday afternoon, with the day highlighted by
Marianna Collins setting a new school record in the 1000-meter event.

Marianna Collins ran school record time of 2:54.90 in the 1000-meter race, which was a fourth place finish in the event overall.
Â
Grace Bleyer and
Riley Paskow rounded out the top five in the long jump, with both reaching a distance of 5.19 meters.

Kristina Ponzio took fifth place in the 5000-meter race with a time of 18:47.97,
Kiley Halpin finished eighth with a time of 19:38.81.

Bella Hayes finished fifth in the open Shot-Put event with a throw of 12.12 meters.
Â
Rebecca Russalesi placed in seventh place in the 400-meter race, clocking in with a time of 58.58, which was enough for a new personal best.
Piper Testa also set a PR in the same event, clocking in with a time of 59.23.
