HAMDEN, Conn. - The Merrimack men's basketball team held the Quinnipiac Bobcats to a season-low point total in a 56-49 victory on Sunday afternoon.
Kevair Kennedy scored 24 points (12 free throws) and came down with seven rebounds. Ernest Shelton finished with 12 points in 39 minutes, chipping in three rebounds and two assists.
It was a block party for KC Ugwuakazi, who tallied a career-high six blocks. He added eight points and six boards.
The Warriors combined for a season-high 13 steals, as Tye Dorset (four steals) and Kennedy (three) led the way.
The Warriors host Siena at Lawler Arena on Friday night, the pivotal conference clash set to be featured on ESPNU at 8 p.m. ET.
