AMESBURY, MA. – Merrimack College men's hockey freshman forward
Justin Gill was named as Hockey East Co-Rookie of the Week for the first time in his career as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.
Justin is on a hot streak, as he has scored a goal in each of his last six games and he has at least one point in his last 11 games where he has 16 points in that span (eight goals and eight assists). His 11 game point streak is the second longest in the nation currently. Justin is also the team's leading goal scorer and point leader with 13 (seventh most in conference) and 28 (sixth most in conference) respectively.
Gill and the Warriors are away this upcoming weekend for their final road trip of the regular season as they travel to Orono to face the Maine Black Bears on Friday and Saturday night.
