Men's Tennis Topped By BU

BOSTON, MA – Juan Carlos Portilla won at singles and the Merrimack men's tennis team took the doubles point in a 5-2 loss at Boston University on Friday.

Portilla won in straight sets 6-4, 6-4 at No. 6 singles. Tom Van Nooten and Strahinja Djukic won 7-5 at No. 2 singles and Njorn Hedegaard-Friis and Trey Pleasant won 6-3 at No. 3 doubles.

The Warriors return to action on Sunday, hosting Mount St. Mary's at Willows Raquet & Fitness Center.
