Men's Track And Field Competes In Day One Of MAAC Indoor Championships

New York, NY-- Merrimack Men's Track and Field began the MAAC Indoor Championships on Saturday evening at the Armory in New York.
 
Gab Qureshi won the 400 meter qualifier with a time of 48.11, he also finished fourth in the 200 meter race with a time of 21.93.
 
Elizardo Melenciano finished fourth in the 60 meter hurdle with a time of 8.36, qualifying for the final.
 
Michael Alleva qualified for the 1 mile final tomorrow with an eighth place finish and a time of 4:22.11.
 
Jared Ptaszek and Grant Eastin both placed in the Weight Throw final with marks of 16.37 meters and 16.24 meters each.
 
Keith Townsend finished sixth in the High Jump, reaching a height of 1.91 meters.
 
The Warriors finish the conference championships tomorrow with the event start time being 12 PM, the meet can also be seen on ESPN Plus.
