NORTH ANDOVER, MA - After two leading performances this past week to clinch the regular season championship, freshman Kevair Kennedy was selected as MAAC Player and Rookie of the Week.
In an overtime thriller over Siena on national television Friday, Kennedy scored 32 points which was a career high. He sank eight shots from the field and was perfect from the free throw line going 16-for-16. In a full 45 minutes of play, he scored his 500th career point of his collegiate career.
Kennedy followed that career performance up by scoring 20 points on Sunday against Iona. He came down with six rebounds and tallied seven assists. He racked up an impressive five steals for the fifth time this season.
Kennedy has scored 20 or more points in nine of his last 11 games. He has posted over 20 in four straight games.
Kennedy and the Warriors finished their season this week starting on Friday against Canisius at 7 p.m. and then Niagara on Sunday at 2 p.m.
