SPARKILL, NY - The Warriors bounced back this afternoon getting 20 kills from sophomore Dallas Birkenbeuel in a three-set sweep over St. Thomas Aquinas.

"As much as we would like to preform better in our Friday matches, we are glad to see increased execution in Saturday Matches. Back to back weeks with Blake Taschner stepping up in different positions and doing whatever it takes for the team to be successful. Excited for us to get healthy and apply what we have learned in a busy February, throughout the rest of the season."
Birkenbeuel's 20 kills came with three digs. It was his fourth straight match with double-digit kills.
Nick Tidik had eight kills to pair with three block assists.
It was eight digs by Blake Taschner to lead the Warriors. He threw in six kills in the win.
Reece Lindstrom set his way to 33 assists in the sweep. He also added on seven digs.
Jack Johnson led the Warriors in blocks with two total (four block assists). He tacked on five digs.
The Warriors have won three of their past five games. Two of the wins were 3-0 sweeps, and one was a reverse sweep.
The Warriors head back home next weekend to take on Sacred Heart University. Game time on Saturday is set for 12:30 noon.
