Women’s Lacrosse Powers Their Way To 11-Goal Victory

RADFORD, VA - The Merrimack college women's lacrosse team took an early lead and never turned back beating the Highlanders of Radford University 17-6. 

Lindsay Atkinson scored six points in the win on four goals and two assists. She took seven shots on goal.

Kaitlin Roche exploded for another four goals on all four shots taken on net. 

Mia Juvelier came away with a career high 16 draw controls in the dominating win. 

Last week's seven goal hero Hailey Schider chipped in a hat trick and two assists. Schider had a team leading two ground balls.

Sophia Ingenito led the team in assists with three, hitting the double-digit mark in points on the season. Ingenito also scored two goals. 

Alli Lamphere and Mia Estelle both scored two goals each.

The Warriors head down to South Carolina this Friday to take on Presbyterian. Game time is set for 6 p.m. EST.
